I knew the mileage I posted yesterday was wrong, but Wiki said it, and by George, it must be gospel. So I spent the morning driving the forty-some miles there (and forty some miles back) along fifty just to make sure: 3073. Somehow Wiki thinks the route shrank over time (I'm guessing old age shrinkage - it happens), but I don't know. I'm just the driver in this picture.
So that's my start for the day: less than 50 genuine miles. This time tomorrow I'll be a road zombie listening to Radar Love on volume 11.
Have a great trip, my friend.
I lived about 30 miles west of Ocean City MD for a few years, pre Bob in our lives. It is a great area. I didn’t realize (dumb me) that Virginia had a small part that was considered a peninsula. Thus, the DelMarVa peninsula. 😊
So, 60 hours at an average at 50 miles and hour and you would be within shouting distance... When do you plan turning sharp right to head south?
