Now that I'm leaving California, it's safe to reveal my favorite places to eat. Papa G's is the go-to for Italian in a state where Italian isn't a mainstay.
I get the linguini with clams in the red sauce. It's wonderfully bright and vibrant, with the earthy clams grounding it in satisfying chewiness. Even the salad is epic - make sure to get the house Creamy Italian dressing.
I'll miss it as I miss so many things here.
