San Antonio: The River Walk
The walk is seething with humanity; the bars are packed, the walkers scurry past one another, the barges are full. The pent-up cabin fever of a year of pandemic is manifest. Most of the walkers wear masks. Those in dining establishments are lulled into security by a policy mandating masks while walking only, not for the seated. And though these places are open to the air, patrons pack in, defiant of the risk.
