One of Tracy's absolute favorite places in the world was the headlands at Mendocino. It's a wonderful, quirky, diverse, windswept ecosystem along the bluffs and cliffs abutting the Pacific. It's a beautiful place to get lost in thought, hiking there, frequently enveloped in mist, then in sunshine, then in mist again. Nothing can salvage a soul like a walk there.
This particular spot was a favorite among favorites. Now she'll be there in perpetuity.
