That's right: this whole loop "loops" back to the other element of my road trips: finding suitable resting spots for my significant other, Tracy.
This one I'm just about certain she'd like. We stumbled upon this location while my brothers and family were visiting. It's about the best vista of Lake Tahoe I know of (below 8000 feet).
The water shimmers in the sunlight, and there's a perpetual breeze shaking the 8" needles of the Ponderosa pines there.
I can't imagine a more restful spot, nor a more fitting way to bring this leg of Take50 to a close, blog-wise.
